Hey so the last two days have been CRAZY BUSY for me, so I apologize for the lack of posts but I've been drowning in school and theater stuff. Anyways with all this hectic chaos surrounding me I need a calming song so I dont internaly combust. Here is Jose Gonzalez with Heartbeats a cover of the Knifes amazing track, which more recently the lovely Ellie Goulding covered as well.

Okay so normally I'm not into super hardcore music, screamo or what not. But I just celebrated one of my closest friends birthdays today and so I decided to share a song that represents her, she is one bad ass mofo and listens to some pretty hard stuff, and since I just bought a rad new Pierce the Veil T-shirt (its got a T-rex on it!!) I decided what the hell, here's Pierce the Veil with Caraphernelia!

So um, it's a little late for a post due to the fact I've been sleeping all day, so, to match this sleepy mood I'm in, I give you one of my favorite songs, the extremely relaxing Curse of the Currents, by Vancouver's very own Said the Whale. One of my newest, favoritest upcoming indie-bands. They gave us Bieber but they redeemed themselves with StW, so thanks Canada.
Note: 1. Vancouver is a great place! I visited a couple times all ready
and going again this summer.
2. I'm not hating on the Biebs! Kudos to him for making more money in
a day then I will ever.

Hello good people of the Internet, might I just say to the 2.3 of you who actually read my blog, thank you! Not only do you have good taste but clearly have a lot of time on your hands, as do I. With all this time, I've been laying in bed sick these past 11 days contemplating my life, and to tell you the truth not much has happened, yet. But something exciting or meaningful will happen eventually but until then, I'm going to keep waiting and searching until it does. But reminiscing on my life hasn't been all bad in fact it made me think about the first few bands I really fell in love with. I remember one summer day I rode my bike to a friends house with the Killers' Hot Fuss album sitting in the cliche' basket attached to my handlebars. I couldn't be more than 10 and a half but to that day The Killers will always have a special place in my heart. I give you my favorite song EVER (and no it's not some underground local indie band nobody has ever heard of) ladies and gentleman The Killers with Mr. Brightside

So good morning people! Happy March! Forgive my excitement but I am so totaly stoked for two reasons, one being that I'm now a blogger hurray! I even have a Facebook fan page! (like it!!) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vitamin-Bee/231842820244617 and the other reson I'm just so wound up is because I've just woken up, and for the first time in 6 days I do not have a fever! This is a monumental occasion and deserves a sparkly bottle of champagne (or in my case a nice glass of chocolate milk) Anyways today I've decided to stick with the "local" theme, (though they are not actually Seattlites) I give you the Local Natives with one of my favorite pieces of theirs, Who Knows Who Cares. I am excited to inform you that apparently they are working on a new album and the link to their website is here -> http://www.thelocalnatives.com/ enjoy!

So a new found viral friend of mine, The lovely Matt Rennick (who has impeccable taste in tunes by the way) has inspired me to start a blog of my own. His blog: Music From Regions Beyond is great check it out! Anyways, being a true Seattlite born and raised right off Alki Beach, I've decided to start with something local! I give you Viices By Made::In::Heights, an all time favorite of mine even though you have to wait a bit for the beat to drop (Don't fret, the 40 or so seconds is worth the wait!) You can find their stuff (including their newly released album circa September 2011) at http://madeinheights.bandcamp.com/ enjoy!
